There are times when I wish Apple Music was a little more intuitive like Spotify. A few days ago, I got my wish. Playing my suggested songs, Siri played Moonchild’s Warning and it was a revelation. The silky smooth song giving 2000’s R&B feels sent shivers down my spine.

Finding out that the group is co-produced by Hybe Japan was all I needed to know. With the backing of an industry powerhouse such as Hybe, we are looking at Moonchild with great expectations. Much credit is due also to the Japanese management company LDH JAPAN Inc. (株式会社LDH JAPAN).

Just like every other Asian pop group, Moonchild also has its controversies such as the hiatus of a member and accusations of copying fandom names. Fortunately, these controversies were in the middle part of 2023 and seem to have subsided.
