Indonesia has won one bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The medal was secured by Gregoria Mariska Tunjung in the women’s singles badminton event. She was awarded the bronze following the withdrawal of Carolina Marin of Spain due to an injury in the semifinals.

Indonesia is still hopeful for more medals, particularly in weightlifting and sport climbing.

As of now, Malaysia has won one bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. This medal was secured by Lee Zii Jia in the men’s singles badminton event. He achieved this by defeating India’s Lakshya Sen in the third-place playoff.

Comeback Pressure: In the bronze medal match, Lee lost the first game 13-21 but managed to stage a remarkable comeback, winning the next two games 21-16 and 21-11.

Currently, the Philippines leads all ASEAN countries with 2 gold medals with opportunities to earn more in multiple sports.
