Confession: I haven’t been listening to Kpop as much in 2025 especially with NewJeans’s current (and looks like ending) pause. This has allowed me to listen to newer groups. One group in particular has caught my attention with their Aura and thats MEOVV

A song from a previous comeback, BODY is still getting regular airplay and I would imagine would be on the top of my Apple and Spotify replays for 2025.

“BODY” was released on November 18, 2024 as one of the two title tracks from MEOVV’s second digital single.

With a rap, hip-hop, dance genres vibe giving it high energy and a rhythmic drive, BODY is a song that has the vocals and beat to be a great vibe. The production is described as “bouncy,” intentionally crafted to highlight MEOVV’s attitude, confidence, and performance energy.

Lyrically and thematically, “BODY” is an anthem of confidence, empowerment, self-assertion, and owning your identity. The song emphasises owning one’s presence, “bodying” (dominating) the room, and being unapologetically oneself.

With hits like Burning up playing everywhere, MEOVV has been getting a lot more attention and its only right we introduce this banger of a song to its newest fans.
