Rosé was as influential as any other artist in 2025. Rośe’s solo music dominated global charts, such as “APT” topping streaming platforms worldwide all while staying No.1 on the Billboard for weeks. She also broke record sales, won major awards, and became the most streamed K-pop artist on YouTube Music.

Sunkissed Lola absolutely came out of nowhere for me. As I mentioned on a previous blog, OPM music is just surrounding me. Pasilyo is a beat that will bring you back to the simpler days of life all while giving deep meanings with their lyrics.

1. NewJeans

It’s rare for an artist to remain my number one during a time of uncertainty, but NewJeans did exactly that in 2025. Despite everything surrounding the group, their music still meant the most to me. Their sound, style, and emotions kept connecting with me more than any other artist. Even when things felt unclear for them as a group, my support and appreciation never changed. If anything, the uncertainty made me value their music and impact even more.
